Atelier Bow-Wow

                   Atelier Bow-Wow  Pet Architecture
Atelier Bow-Wow is an Architecture film which founded by Yoshiharu Tsukamoto and Momoyo Kajima in 1992. The terms 'Pet Architecture' was come form 'Rabbit house' which is a term of small house Tokyo, and describe the 'smallest structure in Tokyo allows resurfacing differences in concept of building lots, constructing techniques and ways to customize.'(Tough 2001, p. 8) Also, it refers to the cheaply built building in a odd shapes or site, but making a theory of customizing buildings. Moreover, the reason of using the name 'Pet Architecture' and shows a man with a dog around those buildings is because of the story of 'Prince Genji' with a kitten which basically means that pet takes a pivotal role in our daily life and Yoshiharu Tsukamoto thinks that 'pet is a source of joy for its owner' (Tough 2013, p. 45) and it is a metaphor of the relationship between man to city, and teach us how to 'read'(Tough 2001, p. 9 ) those small building during walking or going to work,  enjoy the cute pet architecture like the way we love pet.
During my research, I found out that Pet Architecture the traits of the pet architecture shows in 'Petto ākitekuchā gaidobukku = Pet architecture guide book' and 'Atelier Bow-Wow : a primer' were also shows that the building combine many elements such as multiple windows, stair, signboards, tubes in different size and electrical machine. Therefore, I walked around the street around UTS and found out some architectures that likely to Pet Architecture. Afterward, I tried to use Blender to draw the nouse, however, the founction inside is mainly for animation design. To Sketchup layout the exterior of the buildings, and combine them as a collection that similar to what Atelier Bow-Wow show them.
Finally, I combined 13 pet architectures that i have found between Haymarket to Surry Hill, and maximize them in a more visible size to focus on the details such as the window and signboard which similar to Atelier Bow-Wow.

The picture that group most of the Pet Archtecture togather.  (Tough 2001, p. 55 )
These are the practice of drawings of one and two point perspective drawings.
In the left picture, it was the building I use Blender to create, however, this software is quite hard to generate the decorations of the building facade. Therefore, I changed to use Sketchup (right picture) , a much more easy to catch up architectural software for me.
These pictures above are the 'Pet Architecture' I have found around Surry Hills to Sydney Centre.
This is the final big picture of the whole map I created.
The above is a short animation of the whole pet architectures.
